Unboxing of the Nescafe Momento Coffees I received from BzzAgent.com

If you haven't heard of BzzAgent.com click HERE and sign up! BzzAgent.com is an awesome website where they send you free stuff to try out and write reviews on. All you have to do it take surveys and the website will send you an invite to a "campaign" they feel meets your lifestyle and interests. You also have a bzzscore which becomes higher or lower depending on your level of activity on their website. The higher the better, and the more likely you are to get an invite to a "campaign". After accepting the "campaign" invite BzzAgent.com sends you a box right to your door with the product you've been chosen to sample. These are full sized products that you don't pay a single penny for and all you have to do is review them! I have been involved in 5 different "campaigns" that BzzAgent.com has offered and I have thoroughly enjoyed every one of them! In this post I am simply going to show you what I received in my latest BzzKit. I will follow up with a review in a week or two once I have given these products a try.

You know your BzzKit is here when you see the cute bumble bee packing tape!

Of course I have to show everyone an adorable picture of Eva holding my package from BzzAgent. We always take her with us to get the mail and she gets so excited to carry packages and letters!

As you can see this campaign is for the Nescafe Momento Specialty Coffee. It came with 3 full size boxes of coffee in the cappuccino, mocha, and caramel latte flavors. It also came with a ton of coupons that I can pass out to friends and family! If your interested let me know and I'd be more than happy to pass some along! Each box comes with 8 packets of coffee and all you do is add one packet to a cup of hot water and you have a coffee house specialty drink right at home!

A review of these delicious coffees will be posted in the next week or two. So keep your eyes peeled for that and please let me know if you would like some coupons so you can try these out! I just want to say thank you to BzzAgent.com and Nescafe for giving me this awesome opportunity to try these coffees! I really do appreciated it!

Jackie

Products I've Used Up!

I'm back again with some empty products to review... lucky you! Please contain your excitement.
I have decided to try to start buying more naturally derived and organic products. I am by no means saying that I eat organic food because I do not, we simply do not have the money for that. But I have been realizing that a ton of my beauty products have some pretty nasty chemicals in them. So I am going to use up everything I have and once I run out I am going to replace it with a more naturally derived or organic product. I just don't see the point in slathering disgusting carcinogens on my body, and I don't want my family using that crap either. I will probably continue to use makeup that is not organic simply because all the organic makeup that I have come across is ridiculously over priced. You will continue to see a ton of product reviews on products that are not naturally derived because I have couponed for a little over a year now and I have quite an abundance of things. But like I said earlier I am going to use up everything that I have and then start replacing my old items with more natural products when I run out. If you guys have any suggestions on inexpensive organic/natural products please let me know!

Yankee Candle Holiday Garland Candle
Eh. I did not like this candle at all. My mom gave it to me because she didn't love it and I was like ok... I'll give it a go. It smelled of pine, like the whole damn forest was inside that little jar and I did not like it at all. There was also a hint of cinnamon but the pine was so overwhelming you barely got a whiff of anything else. This was my first ever Yankee Candle and I must say I was not impressed with the way it burned. I thought they were supposed to burn evenly, this did not! Considering Yankee Candles are so freaking expensive they should definitely burn evenly... even if they smell like poo. Not going to repurchase.

St. Ives Naturally Soothing Lotion
This was nice and it smelled really great! It was pretty moisturizing and it helped with my dry, itchy hands. I like this but I don't think I be repurchasing since I'm trying to use up what I have and then move onto more naturally derived lotions.

Wet Ones Sensitive Skin Wipes
I really like these. They don't have a scent and they are gentle enough to use on my 18 month old. We like to have these in her diaper bag for when we go on picnics or when we have really dirty hands and faces. These are great when you feel like plain old hand sanitizer isn't going to get your hands clean enough. I would consider repurchasing but would like to find a more natural type of sanitizing wipe. Any suggestions?

Glade Black Berry Jam Scented Oil Refill Candles
I got these on clearance at Target for $0.48! This was my first time trying out any type of Oil Candle and these were really nice! I loved the scent, they reminded me of fall and the scent filled up the whole house. Just just you know, you don't have to buy the "special" container Glade sells to burn these in. You can use any old candle holder to burn these, and they burn up all the way so barely any wax is left behind. These were great and I would definitely repurchase!

Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste
Ugh! I hated this toothpaste, and I've never been one to be a toothpaste snob. But this toothpaste was gritty... why was it gritty? Someone please tell me. I will not repurchase this, AND you shouldn't buy this. Ok? Please don't.

Up and Up Facial Scrub
This is Target's brand of the St. Ives Apricot Scrub and I LOVE this. I love abrasive face scrubs that really get all the dead skin cells off of your face and this one does a great job. But I am trying to buy products that are more natural and I have realized that there are some pretty nasty chemicals in this. SO, I am probably not going to repurchase this unless I cannot find anything to compare to it. If your not concerned about organic products then give this a go because I really do like it.

Jackie

Small Walgreens Couponing Haul 2-17-13

Here are the best deals I found at Walgreens today. There wasn't much going on but they had a few good deals in the clearance section. I also had some coupons that matched up so of course I ended up buying some stuff. I really need to put myself on a shopping ban... I really just might do it. I have way too much stuff! But on the other hand I give a lot of the stuff I get couponing as gifts so I try to justify it that way. But somehow I still feel guilty. Rgh. My couponing is going to slow down quite a bit... just an FYI. I used to get a lot of my coupons from my Mom but she cancelled her newspaper subscription, which I am not complaining about because we all need to save money wherever we can! If I get less coupons I'll do less shopping because I'm frugal and I will not pay full price for something unless I HAVE to have it. I will continue to coupon here and there but it won't be as frequent. Enough rambling and onto the shopping! That's what you guys are here for anyway... RIGHT? :)

Yeah... be jealous of my awesome picture taking skills. No really I'm sorry the lighting sucks. Forgive me please.

January Empties!

As you all know I am trying to live a much simpler life and I am trying to use up a lot of products that I seem to have an abundance of. Here are the items that I have used up this past month as well as some mini reviews on each product.

Pantene Curls to Straight Shampoo
This shampoo did its job at getting my hair squeaky clean. I have wavy to curly hair and I do not straighten it more than a few times a year... who has time for that when you have a 17 month old. Right? This shampoo didn't make my hair any less curly and it didn't help with frizz at all. I wouldn't recommend this if you are trying to straighten your curls.

Pantene Medium - Thick Flat to Volume Conditioner
Since my hair is pretty long and curly I tend to get flat hair on top and I had high hopes that this conditioner would give me some more volume in the crown area... no such luck. This didn't give me any volume but it did get most of the knots out of my hair so that's a plus!

Glade French Vanilla Candle
This is the candle on the left in the blue container. I really liked this candle, I have repurchased it a few times and I'm sure I will continue to do so. I can always find the for super cheap when I shop sales and use coupons! Vanilla scents are by far my favorite, and this candle smells so wonderful. It lingers throughout the whole house and lasts around 20 hours. LOVE it. <3

Crest 3D White Toothpaste
I really liked this toothpaste but it does not whiten as well as Colgate Optic White. This one doesn't cause sensitivity and it tastes great, but i prefer Colgate Optic White even though it does make my teeth sensitive sometimes.

Essence of Beauty Japanese Garden Hand and Body Cream
Essence of Beauty is sold at CVS and I got this for free with a coupon! :) I really liked this hand cream and the smell was really pretty. It's thick but it sinks into your skin really quickly and leaves your skin super soft and hydrated.

Glade Frosted Cookie Candle
This is the clear candle on the right and I LOVED this candle. It smells delicious! I really recommend Glade candles because the scent fills up your whole house and they are really inexpensive especially when you use coupons. This was a winter collection candle so I don't think you can find it in stores anymore.

Let's see how many products we can use up this month!

Jackie
